Another Year of Celebrating God's Faithfulness!
With two-thirds of 2023 already behind us, I can say that this has been another encouraging and uplifting year for HopeCo and our ministries in Tanzania and Kenya. And most importantly, your support and prayers have made a huge difference for hundreds of children!
At HopeCo, we continue to pursue our vision of transformed lives and flourishing communities. Here’s how we accomplish this:
In every HopeCo ministry, our passionate staff proclaim and demonstrate the love of Jesus and are focused on seeing every child reach their full potential.
We remain committed to pursuing quality over numbers, doing all things for God’s glory as we serve these children with compassion and excellence.
We continue increasing our influence and impact in Tanzania and Kenya by empowering families and communities to value and protect children.
Together last year, we raised a total of $1,265,681 to give fresh hope and opportunities to young people. Although we have encountered many challenges, we have also experienced God’s faithfulness in numerous ways. And we are so grateful to you! Through YOUR support - whether by sponsoring a child, serving on a mission team, giving generously, or praying for our kids and staff, children’s lives are being changed forever.
Friends, I am deeply grateful for the part that YOU play in all that God is doing in our programs in East Africa. Your partnership makes this transformational work possible, and we are looking forward to all the things that God has in store for the children, families, and communities we serve in the years ahead.

“…with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ‘Peace be with you.’”
It was a bad day for the disciples when Jesus died. The One whom they had devoted their lives to was dead and buried. Yet it was not the end of the story. Hope was just around the corner. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, defeating the enemy and bringing salvation to us. What the disciples initially thought was the worst day of their lives became the best.
There are times when we face hardships and challenges. At these times, nothing looks good. But God knows how to bring it all together. One day we can look back and see Him at work, bringing transformation and hope.
This is the story for the kids that HopeCo serves. Many have experienced extreme poverty, abuse, suffering, and pain. Nothing looks good for them. Yet they are also experiencing this glorious phenomenon. God is still at work. Their worst days are behind them, and they can look ahead with genuine hope.
You are part of their hope story. Because of your kindness, prayers, and gifts, these kids’ terrible situations are being transformed, and they are experiencing good. Christ is changing lives forever. Thank you for listening, caring, and responding!”
