Primary and Secondary Schools
Tanzania

The quality education available at our schools equips the next generation to attain their vocational dreams and goals.

  • DESTINY PRIMARY SCHOOL

There are currently more than 375 students enrolled at Destiny Primary School. Here, our students gain a solid academic foundation, learn valuable life skills, and become well-versed in the English language. These students have hope and are on the path to positive futures!

  • DR. JOHN CHACHA SECONDARY SCHOOL

Students at our secondary school are on the path to bright futures as they pursue their educational dreams through vocational training or enrolling in a university. Dormitories have been built to allow us to accommodate even more students seeking a quality education at City of Hope.

    LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Excellence is non-negotiable in our schools. Leadership development is a priority for our staff and students. We are intentional about giving our students opportunities to serve and develop their leadership skills. This often includes formal leadership classes, speaking at local schools, and mentorship.

Latest Stories of Hope From Our Schools!

“I KNOW THAT GOD IS WORKING IN THIS PLACE…”

*Philemon, one of the boys we serve, was not doing well academically. To try and improve his performance, I met with him every day to encourage him and ask him questions. During our time together, there was a huge improvement - something every teacher loves to see in a student! Philemon is now doing well, will pass his final exams, and can go to university. He is well-behaved, listens to instructions, and then acts on them. When I ask him if he has unfinished work, he always says, ‘No!’ In my opinion, he is the most improved student at our secondary school, and when I see a student like Philemon improving, it gives me hope that it is possible to help other students, too! I know God is working in this place because of all the changes I see in children like Philemon.
