Just One More…

"WE'RE GIVING 60 MORE VULNERABLE CHILDREN A NEW BEGINNING IN 2025!"

I don’t know about you, but when February pops up on the calendar, I immediately think of Valentine’s Day: hearts, candy, flowers, a special meal – anything that would say to those I hold dear – “I love you”!

What greater love is there than the Gospel? Jesus laid down His life for us and encourages us to “love our neighbor as ourselves.”

“There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” - John 15:13 (NLT)

We’re delighted to report that last year we exceeded our goal, rescuing more than 70 vulnerable children!

We will be welcoming 60 new vulnerable children into our care this year – a milestone that fills us with joy and great responsibility. But this is never easy. So many precious, vulnerable children are waiting for the loving care HopeCo provides.

I ask two things of you: 1) will you pray with us for the wisdom to rescue those God leads us to? 2) will you consider helping us with a one-time gift to rescue just one of these children?

Each child comes from a background of hardship no child should ever have to endure. Childhood abuse, child marriages, malnutrition, child labor, and some abuse is too horrific to mention. Therefore, we must act swiftly and bring them to a place of safety and the love they desperately need…and long for.

The cost to rescue and care for one child (for their first six months) is approximately $1,000. This includes everything they need to put them on the road to a new beginning:

·      Thorough medical exam and treatment

·      New clothes/shoes, bed, bedding, mosquito bed net, nutritious meals

·      School fees, uniforms, textbooks, Bible, school supplies

·      Counseling, educational/psychological evaluation

Your gift today of $50, $100, $250 or more would be an incredible step toward rescuing just one more – like Jad*!

His father died of cancer in 2021 and his mother works tirelessly, carrying bricks and sand at a construction site, to feed her four children…but it’s not enough. Jad attends our Destiny Primary School and receives meals while at school. Math is his favorite subject! He’s in good health and likes to jump rope!

After we bring these children into our care, we find sponsors: individuals, students, couples, families, churches, schools, businesses. Together we will give these children a new beginning!

Perhaps you would like to give a gift to help rescue and care for one of these 60 new children? If so, click on the link below.

If God blesses you to rescue more, we would be overjoyed to bring in two, three, or more children with your generous support.

Thank you for your unwavering prayers and partnership! May God bless you abundantly as you prayerfully consider this opportunity to make a difference for…just one more vulnerable child.

Gratefully yours,

Al Lackey
